New Training Course – Animating with Snap.svg

Another course has been completed and released into the wild on TutsPlus. And this one’s a lot of fun. In Animating with Snap.svg, I cover the basics of using the Snap.svg Javascript framework to animate the bits and pieces of an SVG graphic on the web. By the end of the course, you’ll know how to pull the current date and time and use it to animate an SVG clock.

This course was a blast to create, and hopefully you can find something useful in it to help you with your own animations.

Web Design in Motion

Another course finished. Another course published. Learn everything you need to know about animating with CSS with my new TutsPlus course, Advanced CSS3 Animations.

A quick note. If you are a student of any of my courses and you have any suggestions, please please please feel free to drop me a line. I’m open for constructive criticism as well as suggestions for future courses. And as always, thanks for stopping by!

Parallax Scrolling – The Illusion of Depth

Strap on your space suit and double-check your O2 levels. Tutsplus has just released my latest video training course, Parallax Scrolling for Web Design.

In this course, I cover the basics of using jQuery and the Parallax.js framework to create the illusion of depth with parallax animations for the web. This course was a lot of fun to put together. So check it out, and let me know what you think!
